Thuja, dwarf spherical arborvitae, DANICA 20 cm
The ball you don't have to cut! It grows all by itself in a round shape, the bigger the rounder. The Danica is undemanding and a real alternative to Buxus balls. Other topiaries need a lot of care and constant pruning to keep their shape, so Danica is refreshingly easy to care for. The dwarf spherical arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis Danica) is a coniferous tree that grows up to 80 cm tall and has a flat, spherical, densely closed dwarf form with fine needles and small vertical twigs. It can be kept in its spherical shape by a slight cut. This conifer is absolutely hardy, it does not suffer any damage even at temperatures below -25 degrees. The Thuja occidentalis Danica needs a sunny to semi-shady location with nutritious soil that should be acidic to alkaline.
The trees offered come from our IGLACO tree nursery in southern Poland.
