Dwarf shrub with compact growth. Japanese azaleas grow up to 40cm high and 50cm wide. The evergreen shrub from Japan forms bright pink flowers. Blooms profusely in May and June.
Light green, glossy leaves, completely frost-resistant, remain on the bush all winter if the plant has enough water in the soil. The plants need a humus-rich to sandy and also like boggy, always slightly moist garden soil.
You need partially shaded location.
