Azalea japonica - dwarf alpine rose,

Dwarf shrub with compact growth. Japanese azaleas grow up to 40cm high and 50cm wide. The evergreen shrub from Japan makes large or very large flowers, about 5 cm in diameter. Blooms profusely in May and June.
Light green, glossy leaves, completely frost-resistant, remain on the bush all winter if the plant has enough water in the soil. The plants need a humus-rich to sandy and also like boggy, always slightly moist garden soil.
You need partially shaded location.
