Dwarf shrub with compact growth. Japanese azaleas grow up to 30cm high and 90cm wide. The evergreen shrub from Japan forms orange flowers. Blooms profusely in June and July.
Light green, glossy leaves, completely frost-resistant, remain on the bush all winter if the plant has enough water in the soil. The plants need a humus-rich to sandy and also like boggy, always slightly moist garden soil.
You need partially shaded location.
